在甲鱼饲料中添加油脂能够很好地提高饲料效率。添加豆油饲料效率可提高6.36%,添加玉米油可提高12.23%,添加花生油可提高11.54%,添加鱼油可提高17.28%。同时,在饲料中添加油脂能很好地促进甲鱼生长,获得极大的增重率。添加豆油增重率可提高15.81%,添加玉米油可提高28.13%,添加花生油可提高28.76%,添加鱼油可提高38.1%。添加油脂可表现明显的生长优势,添加豆油特定生长率可提高8.77%,添加玉米油可提高15.79%,添加花生油可提高16.67%,添加鱼油可提高21.05%。试验表明:在甲鱼饲料中添加油脂时,不论是动物油还是植物油,添加量必须大于1%时才对甲鱼的生长有明显作用,几种油脂的最佳添加量分别是豆油2%～5%,玉米油和花生油为1%～3%,鱼油为1%～5%。同时在甲鱼饲料中添加鱼油比添加植物油,如:豆油、玉米油和花生油的效果更好。
