废酸磷肥中对农作物有危害的三氯乙醛、三氯乙酸类污染物质是可以通过与有机肥混合堆腐过程中逐渐降解消失。其降解决慢与堆腐肥料类型及混合比例、培养温度以及三氯乙醛、酸含量等有关。经试验,培养温度以40℃—50℃为宜。配料和用量的比例以废酸磷肥、猪粪、肥沃土壤(菜园土更好)、草木灰、碳铵,按1:4:4:0.4(以腐堆pH达6.5—7为度):0.2为宜,并加入少量绿肥以加快降解速度。在室内恒温40℃时,一般为1—3周左右,在野外则随环境温度不同而异。在杭州,夏天高温下废酸磷肥堆腐时间为27天左右,冬季堆腐不压紧时约需2个多月。其堆腐降解原因经腐堆灭菌和不灭菌试验证明为微生物作用之故。
