在农业学大寨运动中,我局团、场研制、改装许多玉米种、管、收配套机具,使玉米机械化种植面积逐年扩大,产量显著提高。一、玉米机械化播种过去,我们用谷物播种机进行条播。这种方法浪费种子,不便于垅作,下种不匀,费工费事。现在我局各连队已改装玉米施肥点播机20余种,初步解决了玉米机械化播种问题。玉米机械化播种,一般有5个工序,即刨埯(或开沟)、点籽,抓把粪(或粒肥)、覆土和镇压,根据不同情况,可将其一次完成或分段完成。目前已改装并投入生产的有以下几种形式。
