The Chinese New Year is good! The most frequently used greetings for people during the Spring Festival are the three words. This is a simple wish for the new year. But from scholars, professional organizations, and industry giants, the predictions of global economic recovery are not all as optimistic as people’s plain wishes in the New Year. Fan Gang, a prominent economist, believes that “for some time in the future, the global market will often be in an environment of insufficient demand and cyclical overproduction.” The US economy, which is the engine of the global economy, can recover even at the end of 2002.
