新加坡的国内市场很小,出版商唯有向外发展。新加坡出版业的向外发展大体上有3个方向。第一,把学习英语的经验和心得,通过编写教材、读物,介绍到英语非母语的国家和地区去。大陆和台湾都是适当的对象。因为同是华人,学英语所遇到的困难,有许多是相同的。如有克服困难的经验,就可以事半功倍。中国的出版社可以和新加坡的出版社合作,编写适合中国环境的英文课本、参考书、儿童书和一般读物,让要
