随着墙体材料改革的不断推广深化,加气砼砌块以其密度小、导热系数小、节约土地和能源、砌筑方便等优点而愈益广泛地被应用于填充墙和非承重间隔墙。但是因为对加气砼砌块本身的特点缺乏深入细致的研究,相应的施工工艺和质量控制措施不够完善,在应用中与加气砼砌块自身的特性相对应的各种弊病越来越多地表现出来,比较普遍的如空鼓、开裂、脱落、渗漏等质量问题,严重影响了建筑物的观感质量和使用功能,成为建筑工程特别是住宅建筑的一大投诉热点。研究加气砼砌块墙的特点和由此带来的一系列弊病并妥善加以解决,成为这种墙体材料在进一步推广应用中亟待解决的问题。
