强化编辑的读者意识——谈新闻改革中的一个重要观念

虽老犹新的议题我们编辑必须有很强的读者意识(这里说的编辑也泛指所有办报人员,由于读者读到的报纸是通过编辑成形的,行文方便就用编辑作代表)。这不是新问题,而是社会主义新闻学中一个最普通的常识。不是说我们报纸的性质中有一条是“群众性”吗?强调读者意识不就是强调群众观点吗?这是学习新闻学ABC就应该明确的基本观点。惭愧的是,在一段时期来新闻工作实践中,我们编辑却常常有意无意地忘记了这个ABC。谓予不信,请翻翻过去的报纸,不难发现一个相当普遍的现象:不管读者是否感兴趣,是否需要,甚至明知读者没有一点胃口的,报纸还一股劲儿殷勤地奉送。相当枯燥乏味而且不解决实际问题的会议报道,一般化的经验,报账式完成计划的数字,不透露内容的接见,随波逐流的表态……这些连编报人自己也不愿重看一遍的报道,占踞不少版面,不断地强塞给读者。还有,编辑俨然以师长自居,可能并不自觉地把读者看作群氓,居高临下、教之训之、 The editors must have a strong sense of readership (editors also refer to all the newspaper staff here, because readers read the newspaper through editing and editing, writing convenient to use editors to represent).
