缘起项目位于雪山山脉中其中一座小百岳——马那邦山(全高1,407米)的山腰处,地属苗栗县大湖乡,也是台湾草莓的故乡。这栋建筑的价值不在于华丽的设计手法,直正的价值在于业主对于本案的投入与期许。因逢921地震,业主蒋先生为了让整个家庭重新拥有一个栖身之所,放弃了原本在台北的工作回到家乡,投入到整个建筑从无到有的诞生过程中。在业主与设计师历经五年的讨论与合作下,这栋位于高海拔900公尺高山上的低调建筑,终于在种种艰辛中诞生。水泥的外墙流露出自然的混凝土纹理,云雾的渲染让时间与建筑更紧密的 The project is located on the mountainside of Mount Bobai - Manabang (1,407 m in total height) in the Snow Mountains. It is also home to Dahu Township, Miaoli County, and the hometown of Taiwan’s strawberries. The value of this building is not gorgeous design practices, the direct value is the owner of the case for investment and expectations. Due to the 921 earthquake, Mr. Jiang, the owner, relinquished his job in Taipei to his hometown in order to regain ownership of the whole family and devoted his life to nothing. After five years of discussion and cooperation between the owners and designers, this low-profile building at 900 meters above sea level finally emerged.
