运用fluent 6.3对板坯连铸结晶器进行数值计算,研究结晶器宽度对流场的影响。结果表明:对于230mm厚结晶器,随结晶器宽度增加,其液面的最大水平流速减小,但减小的幅度趋缓,液面最大垂直速度和冲击点处速度逐渐减小;宽度分别为1 400、1 600和2 150mm时,液面水平流速达到最大时分别为距离窄边460、540和750m处,冲击点位置分别距离液面0.37、0.40和0.46m,冲击点的速度分别为5.2、4.4和2.5cm/s。
The fluent 6.3 numerical simulation of slab continuous casting mold was used to study the effect of mold width on the flow field. The results show that with the increase of crystallizer width, the maximum horizontal velocity decreases with the increase of crystallizer width, but the decreasing amplitude slows down and the maximum vertical velocities and impact points velocity decrease gradually. The widths are 1 400, 1 600 and 2 150mm, respectively, when the horizontal velocity reaches the maximum, it is 460, 540 and 750m from the narrow side respectively. The positions of impact point are 0.37, 0.40 and 0.46m respectively from the liquid level, and the impact point velocity is 5.2 , 4.4 and 2.5 cm / s.
