由中央电视台与凤凰卫视合作举行的大型电视采访——《极地跨越》,2001年10月28日在北京中内电视台举行了出发仪式。《极地跨越》是21世纪一次规模空前的电视活动,摄制组集中了电视界一流高手,他们将驾驶6辆越野车,用8个月的时间从南极出发,自南向北,穿越美洲大陆,到达北极,途经30余个国家和地区,完成“中国人走世界、中国人看世界、中国人说世界”的地理大跨越。《极地跨越》大型采访行动将探索世界最寒冷的极地、世界最神秘的国度、世界最鲜为人知的文化、世界最先进的科技圣地和世界最狂热的大都会等。
A large-scale television interview conducted by CCTV in cooperation with Phoenix Satellite Television - “Polar Leap” was held on October 28, 2001 in Beijing’s Zhong Nei Television Station. “Polar Leap” is an unprecedented television event in the 21st century. The filming team focused on top-notch professionals in the television industry. They will drive six off-road vehicles and take eight months to depart from the Antarctic and from south to north across the continent. Arrive at the North Pole and pass through more than 30 countries and regions to complete the geographical leap in “Chinese people go global, Chinese people see the world, Chinese people say the world”. The “polar leap” large-scale interview will explore the world’s coldest polar region, the most mysterious country in the world, the world’s most unknown culture, the world’s most advanced science and technology metropolis and the world’s most avid metropolis.
