时彦街,位于芝罘区奇山所城内,原名石板街,1933年更名为时彦街。全街由3条小巷组成,总长290米。有资料记载,石板街建于1398年(明洪武三十一年),始为千户所衙驻地,门前以石板铺路,故名石板街。时彦街之所以被称石板街,是因为东、西走向的主巷,旧时曾用石板铺路。在现代城市街区,尤其是休闲场所,铺设光洁石板已司空见惯。但在数百年前,用开凿齐整的石板铺路,十分罕见。因为加工过程费工耗时,也非坚实耐用,在主要采用青石铺路的奇山所城,独辟此径,自然另有原因。1960年,街面石板被沥青取代,原来那些排列整
