关于制备各种不同显示器件中用的连续薄膜荧光屏,在已发表的文章中介绍过多种方法。其中包括蒸发、溅射、化学汽相淀积等[1,2]。在本文中介绍一种比较简单的方法,可以制备掺稀土的Gd2O3、GdOCl或Gd2O2S(或相应的La、Y化合物)的薄膜磷光体屏。简单说来,这个方法就是把含有定量激活剂的稀土氯化物溶液(用适当的办法配制)以旋转法涂镀到衬底上去,然后在升高的温度中使所涂的薄膜退火,从而形成所要求的化合物。这种方法对于只要求小面积荧光屏的情况可能有用。
A number of methods have been described in published articles regarding the preparation of continuous thin film phosphor screens for use in a variety of different display devices. Including evaporation, sputtering, chemical vapor deposition [1,2]. In this article, a relatively simple method is described in which thin-film phosphor screens of rare earth-doped Gd2O3, GdOCl, or Gd2O2S (or corresponding La, Y compounds) can be prepared. Briefly, this method involves applying a solution of a rare earth chloride containing a defined amount of activator, suitably formulated, to the substrate by spin coating and then annealing the resulting film at an elevated temperature to form The desired compound. This method may be useful if only a small area screen is required.
