It has been shown in pregnant rats that RMI12,936 (17β hydroxy 7α-methyl-androsterone) has anti-fertility effects. Due to pregnancy, pregnancy or gonadotropin-treated rats ovarian hyperplasia, suggesting that its direct role in ovarian anti-fertility.
