2002年5月9日,湖南长沙。清晨7时多,从湖南大学教职工宿舍楼里,走出来一位60多岁、中等身材的人。他稳健的步伐、浓黑的眉毛、炯炯的目光。无不在向世人展示着他那超乎同龄人的进取精神和执着追求。他就是被收入《世界名人录》(华人卷)网络版、现任湖南大学归国华侨联合会秘书长的湖南大学教授易文质。今天对于他来说,既是对历史的回顾,又是新征程的开始。他此行将赴北京,参加中华全国归国华侨联合会召开的“科教兴国示范基地”
May 9, 2002, Changsha, Hunan. More than 7 am, from Hunan University faculty quarters building, came out of a 60-year-old, medium-sized people. His steady pace, thick black eyebrows, piercing eyes. All are showing to the world his enterprising spirit and persistent pursuit of the same age. He is rewarded with the online edition of “Who’s Who in the World” (Chinese volume) and is currently a professor at Hunan University who is the secretary general of the Returned Overseas Chinese Federation of Hunan University. For him today, it is not only a review of history but also the beginning of a new journey. He will go to Beijing this afternoon to attend the “Science and Education Rejuvenation Demonstration Base” held by the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of China.
