本文首先论述了文化素质与综合素质的关系、学生的文化素质与外语能力之间的关系以及文化素质教育在当前外语教学中的位置;文章接着从改革课程设置、开设以文化导入为主要目的的限选课、改革《综合英语》课和陶冶学生的情感等几个方面比较详细地介绍了华中科技大学在这方面所进行的理论和实践探讨;文章最后概述了华中科技大学外语系在文化素质教育方面取得的初步成果并分析了目前存在的问题。
This article first discusses the relationship between cultural quality and comprehensive quality, the relationship between students’ cultural qualities and foreign language ability, and the position of cultural quality education in current foreign language teaching. Then, from the perspective of reforming curriculum, Huazhong University of Science and Technology in this area, the theory and practice of several aspects of the reform of the “Integrated English” class and cultivate the emotion of the students and other aspects in detail, the article concludes with an overview of the Huazhong University of Science and Technology Department of Foreign Languages in the cultural quality of education The initial results achieved and analyzed the current problems.
