从14世纪()幕府开始,日本的统治者多认为,控制了上方(京都),就掌握了天下。因此,战国群雄,包括织田信长、丰臣秀吉在内,都以关西为根据地。维一的例外是德川家康,他独具慧眼,看中了当时还泛一片蛮荒的江户城,立意将它变成关东的政治、经济中心。经过江户幕俯长达267年的锐意经营,终于奠定了今日东京的繁盛根基。回顾400年前的江户风貌,怎不叫人有沧海桑田之感!
From the 14th century (Shogun), Japan’s rulers thought that they had mastered the world by controlling the top (Kyoto). Therefore, the Warring States, including Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, are based in Kansai. The exception to Victoria’s one was Tokugawa Ieyasu, who was uniquely discerning and fanciful. He also fancied the wild Edo Castle at the time and set himself the goal of turning it into a political and economic center in the Kanto region. After a long period of uprooting over 267 years by the Edo Board, it finally laid the foundation for today’s Tokyo. Recalling the Edo style 400 years ago, how can we not let people feel the feeling of the sea?
