催化滴定法是利用催化反应指示滴定终点的容量分析法。1962年首先由苏联的提出。由于它既具有催化法灵敏度较高的优点,而在条件控制上又不需像催化法那样严格,且方法简单,不需昂贵的仪器,因而受到分析化学家的重视,近年来国外这方面的研究工作甚为活跃,有不少综述发表。有些方法己很成熟而被采纳作为标准方法但在国内则很不普及,这方面的研究工作甚少,甚至将应用滴定分析法测定指示物质浓度的催化法误称为催化滴定。
