围绕中心抓党建、抓好党建促中心,是军队和武警部队党的建设的优良传统和重要经验。武警云南边防总队党委根据部队所处环境特点,立足部队担负的中心任务,深入开展创先争优和创建模范党组织活动,大力抓好各级党组织建设,取得了明显成效,边境维稳防控、爱民固边、禁毒缉毒、国际维和、湄公河联合巡逻执法、服务桥头堡建设等多项工作受到上级表彰。
