本文从阐述和谐社会的科学内涵入手,结合建设“平安武汉”的实践,指出公安机关在构建社会主义和谐社会过程中,必须正确处理公安工作在服务经济社会和人的发展中的各种关系,以科学发展观为指导,推进公安工作全面、协调、可持续发展;必须坚持改革创新,建立与和谐社会相适应的现代警务机制;必须坚持从严治警,努力建设一支“亲民务实、文明威武”的高素质公安队伍。 Starting with the scientific connotation of constructing a harmonious society and combining with the practice of building “Safe and Secure Wuhan”, this paper points out that public security organs must correctly handle the various relations between public security work in serving the economic society and human development in the process of building a harmonious socialist society, We must persist in reform and innovation and establish a modern policing mechanism compatible with a harmonious society.
