我们接受一些生产单位提出解决乙炔品的任务,对于干馏煤气强化问题作了进一步研究(54年曾初步估计用石灰,火碱强化可提高150~200℃)。在党的三结合教育方针指导下,以及天津市三船厂在设备方面的支援,现已取得一定成果。强化后的干馏煤气比纯干馏煤气的火焰温度提高约500℃,用在气割及有色金属和铸铁的焊接方面完全可以代替乙炔;焊接低碳铜薄板(1.5毫米以下)也可使用,但质量方面还待继续研究。
