一、专辑的目的和意义目前,“源-汇”研究已逐渐成为世界范围内地球科学领域颇为关注的重要课题,而这些方面的研究不仅源于人们对环境科学或环保的关注,而且也源自人们不断认识到理解地球表层动力学过程对揭示地球整体动力学过程的重要性.近十年来,“源-汇”系统研究领域主要进展集中于3大部分,即:(1)构造、气候、海平面变化等控制因素如何影响沉积物和溶解质从源到汇的产出、转换与堆积;(2)物质侵蚀、转换过程及其相伴生的反馈机制;(3)全球变化历史记录和地层层序形成如何响应于沉积过程的变化.
