Objective To understand the hygienic status of barreled drinking water in estuarine areas and the existing problems so as to provide a basis for decision-making in the future to seek better ways to improve these methods. Results Among the indexes tested, the counts of lead, arsenic, copper, mold and yeast were all qualified, and the total number of colony, coliforms, nitrites and conductivity items had different degrees of nonconformity.
