《辽史》共记有15个贪官,他们中契丹族人数最多,有8人,汉人有6人,另外1人是越里吉国人,虽然他们所属民族不同,但都在辽代朝廷内担任要职。他们的贪蠹行为对辽代的整个社会风气、政治和经济方面都造成了不利影响。从现有史料看,辽代出现贪官的原因主要有三:辽代一些时期法律惩贪力度不够、有些皇帝的纵容以及贪墨者个人品性嗜贪。
There are 15 corrupt officials recorded in Liao History. Among them, there are 8 Khitan people, 6 Han people and 1 Vietnamese person. Although they belong to different nationalities, they hold important positions in the court of Liao Dynasty . Their beetle behavior has had a negative impact on the social, political and economic aspects of the Liao Dynasty. Judging from the existing historical data, there are mainly three reasons for the emergence of corrupt officials in the Liao Dynasty: inadequate punishment and punishment by law in some Liao dynasties, connivance of some emperors, and greedy personalities of corrupt greed.
