近些年来,国外大量使用“振动时效”处理方法来消除钢铁、铝合金等构件由于铸造、轧制和焊接等过程造成的残余应力,效果明显,费时短,成本低。并使构件在加工后的精度大大的提高。据有关资料介绍,用这种方法只需十至五十分即可使构件内的残余应力消除70~80%,同时也按同样的百分数消除了由于残余应力而造成的构件的翘曲。美国应力消除工程公司进行过五千多次试验均获成功。目前这种方法已在国外大量采用,并相应的出现了一些有关的设备专利权。
