回收报废汽车在物资再生行业的经营业务中占有举足轻重的地位。以重庆市金属回收公司为例:据不完全统计,该公司1991年1～11月共回收报废汽车946辆,花去进车费用61.96万元,解体费用17.57万元。共获毛利199.89万元。平均每辆车收入约2000元。在1991年,公司总业务盈利(纯利)100多万元。由此可见,报废汽车业务在经营中的重要性。但是报废汽车回收管理工作目前还存在一些问题,影响业务的开展和效益的提高。经初步了解,大致表现在以下几个方面:
