China Water Conservancy Institute of Water Conservancy Technology Technical Committee is scheduled to hold the 12th Symposium on Water Conserving Measure Technology in Hohai University, Nanjing in November 2008. The topics include: (a) Novel sensors; (b) Technology and instruments; (c) rapid detection technology and equipment for flood danger; (d) safety monitoring instruments and systems for water conservancy and hydropower projects; (e) construction quality inspection and control technology for water conservancy and hydropower projects
