Objective: To investigate the preventive effect of 654-2 on multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) caused by traumatic hypovolemic shock. Methods: 654-2 was applied at different times after trauma. And observe the incidence and prognosis of MODS. Results: The morbidity and mortality of MODS in the early stage of application of the 654-2 group were significantly lower than those of the 654-2 group and the non-applied group at the 7th and 10th days after trauma. The incidence and mortality of MODS in the latter two groups were not significant difference. On the 15th day after trauma, there was no significant difference in the incidence and mortality of MODS between the early application group, the late application group and the non-application group. Tip: early application of trauma 654-2 on traumatic MODS and delay the occurrence of a certain role, but can not block the pathological progress and the final incidence. Post-traumatic application of 654-2 has a poor preventive effect on traumatic MODS.
