Introduction Rice is a kind of hi-temperature crop, which has been growing rice in China for more than 4000 years. After the liberation, under the wise leadership of the party and Chairman Mao, the rice importing countries before the liberation became the exporter of rice. Especially after the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution, the vigorous development of the “Agriculture Studies in Dazhai” movement has rapidly expanded the area planted to rice in northern China.
