二化螟Chilo suppressalis Walker的大量饲养已向两个方向发展,作者等(1973),曾采用“水稻种苗饲养法”,可以累代饲养标准化的试材。国外用人工合成(或半合成)饲料的研究进展较快。釜野(1971,1973)进行了系统的研究与总结,我们曾选用成功的配方10多种,经试验比较认为,有些配方组分繁多,不易大量获得,且多需无菌操作,在利用防腐剂没有成功情况下,不便于大规模饲养。所以,日本提倡利用物理灭菌为发展方向,我们试图以简化配方组分及以防腐剂取代无菌操作,作为改良方向。三年来,初步研究出一种人工饲料,已成功累代大量
