中国绘画史上能够脱颖而出的名师、巨匠.多是在艺术道路上披荆斩棘的开创者。他们在众多的画人当中显出耀眼的光芒.以令人仰视的姿态成为艺术史和文化史上的明星,千古闪烁。同时,他们也是艺术传统的继承者和艺术传统的扬弃者。另一方面.我们也不难发现这样一种现象:有许多艺术传统的继承者则被历史和现实的洪流冲刷得失去光泽。其原因是多方面的,但有一点可以肯定,只知一味继承.而缺乏创新精神和创造力.这样的人被淘汰是历史和艺术发展规律的必然。
