The last newsprint price adjustment has been completed. The three major manufacturers in North America have announced another price increase of US$50/ton on April 1. Abitibi-Consolidated, the world’s largest newsprint company, notified customers on January 4 that they will increase newsprint prices by US$50/ton in the early part of the second quarter. Bowater and Donohue also announced a price increase of 50 on April 1st
