After the mid-19th century, due to its superior geographical position and abundant natural resources, some Americans conducted an early exploration of Taiwan and took it as their own national ownership. However, for various reasons, the U.S. government has not taken a large Scale military operations. The will of Japan to invade Taiwan gives Americans opportunities to intervene in Taiwan affairs to expand their interests in the Asia-Pacific region. During the entire invasion of Taiwan, the U.S. government consistently followed the policy of “neutrality.” However, handling the contradiction between the Americans involved in Japan’s invasion of Taiwan objectively gave the non-official U.S. forces the opportunity to help Japan to invade Taiwan. Virtually making the United States a supporter and condone for Japanese aggression.
