INTRODUCTIONrnAnkylosis of temporomandibular joint can cause severe mandibofacialasymmetry, postmandibular stenosis. Ankylosis of temporomandibularjoint(TMJ) in infants can lead to obstruction of upper airway due toinfluencing on development of mandible and obstructive sleep apncasyndrome(OSAS) is caused. Previous surgical treatment of ankylosisof temporomanibular joint needs large scope with big trauma andhigh relapse rate. Distraction osteogenesis technique can simplifysurgical operation, decrease operation risk and relapse rate and theeffect definitive.rn
