一、前言西湖堪称为中国东南海岸的一颗明珠。其湖光山色之美,周围许多名胜古迹,以及历代文人韵事传说,早已誉满中外,成为人们神驰心仪的对象。清代王啅《西湖考》云:“吾杭西湖,名胜甲天下,其盛自唐宋迄今,笙歌画舫无虚日,甚至异域亦有披图而歆羡者。”王氏又列举当时全国各地被称为西湖者约五十多所,其中不少为模仿杭州西湖而取名西湖,如浙江龙游县西湖则:“宋马天骥拟杭州之西湖开此,以备游览。”此外,扬州瘦西湖、北京圆明园福海以及颐和园昆明池等,亦皆以仿照西湖而闻名。
