早期购买的电脑,其硬盘容量大多在340M以下,越来越满足不了安装各种大容量的应用软件及游戏软件之需要,大硬盘已成为必不可少的设备。于是不少用户便把小容量硬盘更换为大容量硬盘,替换下来的旧硬盘往往闲置未用。如果能保持原系统中硬盘不动,将新购的硬盘作为第二硬盘安装,则可充分利用硬盘资源。本文介绍在COMPAQ4/66电脑上加装第二硬盘的经验,仅供参考。 COMPAQ Prolinea 4/66电脑,原配置有3英寸和5英寸软驱,以及210M硬盘。升级为多媒体后,5英寸软驱已换成SONY77U四速光驱(因原机未留光驱安装孔)并通过双硬盘线连在原IDE硬盘接口。加装了创新SB16声霸卡和蓝点解压卡。新购硬盘型号为seagate630M EIDE接口。安装过程如下:
