翻开我国目前出版的所有大、中、小学的历史教材、史学专著、工具书等,我们即可发现,所有的这些书籍无一不是把1840年6月至1842年8月,即中国清政府反抗英国殖民主义者对中国的侵略战争,称之为“鸦片战争”。这种定论的称谓,已成为我国人民的历史常识。但是,随着时间的推移和我国学术界对中国近代史研究的不断深入,笔者认为,把这场由英国侵略者首先发动的长达两年之久的侵略中国战争,简单地定名为“鸦片战争”,是值得商榷的。 Open all the history books, history monographs, reference books, etc. of all primary, middle and primary schools in our country, we can find out that all these books are all from June 1840 to August 1842, namely the Qing government of China The war of aggression against the British colonialists against China was called “the Opium War.” The title of this conclusion has become the common sense of history of our people.
