We used the new spectral emissivity algorithm to analyze the aeronautical thermal infrared spectral data of the Iron Hill carbonate-alkaline igneous complex in south-central Colorado and verified with the existing 1: 24000 geological map and facies study. Colored composite images show that alkaline rocks clearly identify the presence of alkaline rocks in different parts of the complex
