论述了过去全球变化的陆地记录在全球变化研究中的作用,把所要求的研究项目划分成两组——计划A:认识全球系统的过去状态和计划B:评价对环境变化的响应的后果。对于这两组计划的推荐项目——过去的全球碳储库及其随时间的变化(计划A),全球海平面变化及其影响(计划B,下同),大陆记录中的突变、极端事件和短期波动,关于陆海对比的试验项目,长期的大陆记录,从问题的提出、目的、方法、背景资料等方面进行了阐述。
Discusses the role of land records of past global change in global change research and divides the required research projects into two groups - Plan A: Recognizing the Past State of the Global System and Plan B: Assessing the Consequences of Responses to Environmental Change. For these two groups of recommended projects - the past global carbon stockpiles and their evolution over time (Plan A), global sea level changes and their impacts (Plan B, same below), mutations in continental records, extreme events And short-term fluctuations. The pilot project on land-sea contrast and the long-term mainland record have elaborated the issues raised, their aims, methods and background information.
