Artificial sweeteners are a kind of large amount of food additives with wide use. According to the United Nations estimates of 1967, about 75% of the world’s population consume artificial sweeteners to varying degrees. Therefore, the safety of artificial sweeteners is deeply concerned. In the past ten years, there have been many reports on the carcinogenesis and mutagenesis of artificial sweeteners in mammals.
