在当前的公路工程中,由于自身特点及种种原因,不但工作量大,施工也相当复杂,对其测量的要求也提高很多,以往的一些测量方法难以满足这些需求,因此,必须引进一些新的测量手段。GPS技术应用到公路测量工作中,不受地形条件限制,精度高,速度快,工作量少且全天候作业,它的应用改变了作业方法和勘测手段,提高了勘测效率,有利于促进我国经济的进一步发展。本文从组成、原理和自身特点等方面对GPS做了简单介绍,并介绍了其在公路工程控制测量中的一些应用。
