生物简介:Geochelone elegans,象龟属,成体贝甲16～35cm。主要分布在印度、巴基斯坦、斯里兰卡的潮湿草地、灌木丛林区域。原产地气温常年处于20℃以上。夏季可以达到40℃。印度星龟在野外主要以牧草为食,也吃植物块茎等粗纤维食物。目前在东南亚地区有许多专业繁殖星龟的牧场,人工培育后代主要用于宠物贸易。
Biological profile: Geochelone elegans, as a genus, adult Beibei 16 ~ 35cm. Mainly distributed in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, wet grass, shrubland area. The temperature of origin is above 20 ℃ all the year round. Summer can reach 40 ℃. Indian star turtles in the field mainly forage for grazing, but also eat crude fiber foods such as plant tubers. At present, there are many specialized pasture breeding turtles in Southeast Asia. Artificially cultivated offspring are mainly used for pet trade.
