1987年12月17日,在马来西亚沙捞越港口装运进口的马来西亚山地原木中,采到一种白蚂蚁,鉴定为弯颚乳螱Coptotermes Curvignathus Holmgren。该虫国内尚未发现,仅将该虫兵螱描述如下。弯颚乳螱兵螱个体较大,体长5.4mm。头部黄褐色,椭圆形,头部后方最宽。头长(至上唇)1.9mm,头宽1.45mm。疏生直立长毛。上颚赤褐色,瘦长。长1.15mm。自端部1/4处向内弯曲。上唇宽舌状,长0.425mm,宽0.325mm,具端毛一对,透明区圆柱状。触角16节,黄褐色,第3、4节短
On December 17, 1987, a white ant was collected from Malaysian mountain logs imported from the port of Sarawak, Malaysia, identified as Coptotermes Curvignathus Holmgren. The insects have not yet been found in the country, only the worms described as follows. Curvy jaw 螱 Bing 螱 individual larger body length 5.4mm. Head brown, oval, the widest head and rear. Head length (upper lip) 1.9mm, head width 1.45mm. Sparse erect hairy. Pale auburn, slender. Length 1.15mm. Bend inward from 1/4 of the end.
