In recent years, theoretical studies and experiments show that the elements under high pressure can form new compounds that can not exist in classical chemistry. Recently learned from the Beijing High Voltage Research Center, Li Kuo, a researcher at the center, and Chen Yue, a professor at the University of Hong Kong, collaborated for the first time to synthesize Sn3Se4, a new chemical compound that violates common valences. The compound is metallic, transforms into a superconductor at low temperatures, and may have better physical properties. Relevant research results published in the March 28 world physics
