运用定量研究的方法,以武汉某高校351名非英语专业本科生为调查对象,主要分性别、文/理科、家庭背景与A/B级来分析学生英语学习内在动机与动机强度间的相关关系。研究结果表明:内在动机与动机强度密切相关。因此在大学本科生英语教学过程中,应对不同性别、专业、家庭背景与英语水平的学生进行有针对性的培养,分析他们内在动机的主要方面,鼓励他们在学习上投入更多的努力,以便有利于其英语水平的提高。
Using the method of quantitative research, this paper analyzes 351 students from non-English majors in a university in Wuhan, mainly on the basis of sex, literary / science, family background and A / B level, to analyze the correlation between students’ intrinsic motivation and motivation intensity . The results show that intrinsic motivation and motivation intensity are closely related. Therefore, during the process of English teaching for undergraduates, the students of different genders, professions, family backgrounds and English proficiency should be trained in a targeted manner to analyze the main aspects of their intrinsic motivation and to encourage them to devote more efforts to learning Is conducive to improving their English level.
