2012年以来,欧洲各大聚合物公司如巴斯夫、利安德巴塞尔、匈牙利TVK和意大利Versa-lis公司相继宣布新建丁二烯生产装置,总计年产能达42.5万t,计划2015年之前完成,届时欧洲丁二烯产能将增加16%。欧洲仍是世界上主要的丁二烯出口地区。巴斯夫将在比利时安特卫普建设1套年产15.5万t丁二烯抽提装置,计划2014年投产,届时它将成为继英力士、利安德巴塞尔、Versalis公司和陶氏化学之后的欧洲第五大丁二烯生产商。巴斯夫目前是欧洲第十大丁二烯生产商。意大利Versalis公司将在法国敦刻尔克新建1套年产能
