翼状胬肉切除术常被认为是一种安全的手术,现在术后已采用β线照射或点噻替派使复发率由20~30%降至10%以下。此种方法引起的并发症有:眼部慢性刺激症、无菌性巩膜溃疡、睑球粘连、虹膜萎缩、结膜色素沉着、假单胞菌性巩膜炎和眼内炎等。作者报告2例翼状胬肉切除术后并发感染性角巩膜炎和眼内炎。例1:74岁女性患者,1987年9月行左眼鼻侧翼状胬肉切除术,术后点氟甲松龙和噻替派。术后6周出现眼痛、流泪、畏光及球结膜周边
Pterygium resection is often considered a safe procedure, and has been postoperatively treated with either β-ray or point-thixotropic agents to reduce the recurrence rate from 20-30% to less than 10%. The complications caused by this method are: chronic ocular irritation, aseptic scleral ulcer, symblepharon, iris atrophy, conjunctival pigmentation, pseudomonas scleritis and endophthalmitis. The authors report two cases of pterygium excision surgery complicated with keratitis and endophthalmitis.
