震惊上海的“94·11·23”虹桥宾馆特大涉外持枪抢劫杀人案,经上海刑侦总队“11·23”专案组历时一年零七个月的艰苦侦察,辗转南北万里,六赴中缅边境开展工作,于1996年5月24日在云南通过一起越境毒品案觅获枪支线索,在云南,尤其是德宏州及德宏州潞西县公安局的精心扩案和大力协助下,顺藤摸瓜,层层突破,遂又于6月初飞驰辽宁,咬住线头,寻迹追踪,终于1996年6月10日在沈阳市设伏将凶手许庆国(男,25岁,朝鲜族,沈阳市人)擒获,并缴获作案手枪一支、子弹8发和被害人护照、身份证、信用卡、照相机等赃物。此案胜利告破。
