随着国际间经济、贸易的不断深入和科技、文化的高速发展,社会越来越需要大量既掌握专业知识,又能熟练运用英语的复合型人才。具有较强的专业英语应用能力,对于高职院校的学生来说日益重要。然而,目前很多高职院校没有意识到专业英语的重要性,专业英语教学模式陈旧,与社会需求脱节。加强专业英语的教学改革已成为高职英语教学改革的一项重要任务。本文在分析目前高职院校专业英语教学存在的问题基础上,探讨了高职专业英语教学改革的新途径,以期提高高职英语教师的教学水平,增强学生的专业英语应用能力。
With the continuous deepening of international economy and trade and the rapid development of science and technology and culture, there is an increasing need in society for a large number of compound talents who possess both professional knowledge and proficiency in using English. Has a strong ability to use professional English, for students of higher vocational colleges is increasingly important. However, at present, many vocational colleges are not aware of the importance of professional English. The professional English teaching model is out of date and out of touch with social needs. Strengthening the teaching reform of professional English has become an important task in the reform of English teaching in higher vocational colleges. Based on the analysis of the existing problems in professional English teaching in higher vocational colleges, this paper explores new ways of reforming professional English teaching in higher vocational colleges with a view to improving the teaching level of English teachers in higher vocational colleges and enhancing their professional English ability.
