根据宁县地处黄土高原沟壑区和暖温带半湿润气候区的特殊条件,提出林苗培育的4种模式,即育苗留树、计划密植、林下育苗、林苗间作。实践表明,模式一是在培育苗木的同时将坡梯田改造成水平梯田;模式二是利用林荫为育苗创作条件;模式三是利用苗木密度的变化而采取的建园措施;模式四是针阔叶树种组合培育的新方法。
