Objective To investigate the effects of sub-chronic exposure to acrylonitrile (ACN) on reproductive function in male rats. Methods Male Wistar rats were orally gavaged with 0, 10, 20 and 40 mg / kg of ACN for 13 weeks, respectively. The enzymes related to spermatogenesis were determined and the mating experiments were performed at the end of 12 weeks. The effects of ACN on reproductive function Impact. Results The activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and its isoenzyme LDH X in 10 mg / kg group after ACN exposure for 13 weeks were (2.161 ± 0.395) U / mgpro and (0.299 ± 0. 16.3) U / mgpro was significantly higher than that in the control group [(1.82 2 ± 0.263) U / mgpro and (0.185 ± 0.504) U / mgpro], the difference was significant (P < 0.05). However, the activity of ACP, AKP and SDH increased slightly compared with the control group, but the difference was not significant (P> 0. 0 5) 5). Compared with the control group, LDH and LDH X in 40mg / kg group [(1.789 ± 0.286) U / mgpro and (0.15 ± 0.305) U / mgpro] (P> 0.05). The activities of LDH and LDH X in the epididymis showed the same changes as those in the testis, but there was no significant difference between each group and the control group (P> 0.05). The results of mating experiment showed that there was no significant difference in fertility rate, fertility index and mating rate between female and male rats (P> 0.05). When the dosage was 40 mg / kg, the average live birth weight per litter (P <0.05), the fetal absorption rate was 19.66%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (7.61%), the difference was significant Sex (P <0.
